YouTubers Host Biggest ‘Gender Reveal’ Party on the Burj Khalifa Worth $130,000

A pair of YouTubers from Dubai hosted a lavish ‘gender reveal’ party on the Burj Khalifa worth $130,000!

But they drew mixed reactions on social media for the ostentatious display, particularly because the very short moment of fame was worth that much money! A lot of people could not believe that they would throw away that big amount of cash for something as simple as revealing their child’s gender.

Anas and Asala Marwah are from Dubai. The YouTubers have a huge following of over 7.8 million subscribers, plus at least 2 million followers on each of their Instagram accounts.

Vlogging as the Anasala Family on YouTube, the two went above the usual color-coded gender reveal party of cakes and balloons as they took their party to the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building and structure in the world.

It is safe to say that theirs broke the world record for the biggest gender reveal ever, literally. Emblazoned in blue with sparks of confetti and fireworks on the display, the 824-meter tower announced the gender of the couple’s baby for all world, well Dubai, to see: “It’s a boy!”

Married since 2017, with one elder daughter, the couple decided to take their gender reveal party for their second baby up a notch by choosing the dramatic reveal on the Burj Khalifa. Never mind that they had to spend so much money on the short party, because they just wanted to make it big. It was literally big!

I am trying my best to give content that no one has ever seen before. To me, doing it in this way is something very big,” Asala explained.

While cried along with the couple as they watched the video of the gender reveal party, there were also many who criticized the couple for the extravagant display. Many are saying that they could have used the money for a worthwhile cause; though others said that it is their money and they can freely do whatever they want with it.

Also, though gender parties sometimes lead to disasters such as the one that started a wildfire in the US, this one is completely harmless – except to these YouTubers’ pockets, of course…
