It is a sad reality that medical bills, including hospitalization, doctors’ fees, medicines, and other needs, can be so expensive. But even paying the best doctor’s and being in the best hospitals won’t guarantee that you will get well.
Frederick Del Mundo, 20, and his seven siblings are having a difficult time paying for the Php500,000 debt that their late mother had incurred at the hospital after being admitted for pneumonia and tuberculosis.
What’s sad is that though they lost their mom, they are still obliged to pay the hospital bills, of course. So, each of the siblings are doing their best to earn money to slowly pay their debts.
Though he is the youngest, Frederick also wanted to help out his older siblings in paying for their mom’s hospital bills. But because he does not have a job yet, he is doing it in the only way he could: selling his artworks and accepting commissioned orders.
Netizens were impressed by the level of detail and skill of Frederick’s artworks! He makes such amazing works of art that many netizens expressed willingness to pay him for the drawings. Others were willing to send assistance, knowing that the young artist and his family are struggling hard with their late mom’s hospital debts.
