World’s ‘Most Identical Twins’ Had Surgeries to Look Exactly Alike, Shares Unusual Pregnancy Plan

They are known to be the world’s ‘most identical twins’ but Anna and Lucy DeCinque from Perth, Australia, want to take it another step closer to becoming ‘just like one person’. They revealed their plan on getting pregnant at exactly the same time. Hmmmm. Weird, huh?

The unusual pregnancy plan got a lot of people wondering how that would happen, considering that they actually share the same boyfriend, Ben Byrne.

But the identical twins clarified that it certainly won’t happy the natural way as that would be impossible. Instead, they plan to get their eggs retrieved for IVF, then having the embryos transferred at the same time. That would certainly count as getting pregnant at exactly the same time.

However, since IVF does not guarantee 100% implantation, it might still be possible that they won’t be pregnant even after doing IVF at the same time. Still, the procedure does increase their chances.

World’s ‘Most Identical Twins’

While the twins have a rather unusual pregnancy plan, it can be recalled that the two had gone viral in 2015 after spending over $250,000 (Php12.3 million) to “look exactly alike”.

They revealed that though they are identical twins, they still have some differences. Thus, they went through those surgeries so they can become “just like one” because that is their main goal in life.

We shower together we make up together we go to bed at the same time, we eat together, we’re hungry together, everything is just the same. It could be obsessive but this is how we want to live our life, we live as one person,” the twins said.

Anna and Lucy often talk in unison or finish each other’s sentences. But they explained that they simply want to experience everything together, at the same time. Getting pregnant and giving birth at the same time would truly be a dream come true for the world’s ‘most identical twins’!
