In life, it is said that we get reap what we sow – if we sow bad things, then we reap bad things. Likewise, if you sow good things, then you reap good things. That’s life; that’s karma.
But sometimes the rules are complicated and even those who sow bad things actually reap good things, in some way or another. It can be confusing at times and many people felt disheartened.
Just like this story of a kind wife whose heartless husband took home a younger, more beautiful woman as his mistress. The three lived under the same roof but it was the mistress that had the husband’s attention while the wife, who had legal right to be in that house, was ‘demoted’ to being the new couple’s housemaid.
Instead of loving his wife like he promised at the altar, the husband honored his mistress and made his wife do the house chores, letting her clean up and cook for them. She was even the one washing their clothes and preparing their food.
The three would eat together like a ‘normal’ household but because the two were fond of displaying their affection, the poor wife often had to leave the table and eat by herself. Hurt by her husband’s actions, the wife would silently cry yet she never left him.
But the mistress, who know her power over the man in the house, would often taunt the wife. One day, she provoked the wife who was washing clothes at the time. She threw her dirty clothes on the basin and the water splashed several times on the wife.
Having had enough of this younger woman’s antics, the wife finally fought back and threw water on her. But this action angered the husband who kicked his wife out of their home as he sided with his mistress. Heartbreaking.
But karma got to the guy. While his wife was already having a better life, with her own business, his mistress cheated on him like he had cheated on his wife. Unable to accept the heartbreaking karma he received, the guy collapsed to the ground.
His mistress left him, seeing he was no longer of use to her – and she had found someone new, anyway.
When she learned about what happened to her husband, however, the long-suffering wife decided to forgive him and come back to their home where she found him crawling on the dirty floor. She could have laughed and bid him goodbye, letting him suffering after the pain he brought on her but this wife loved her husband so much that she was willing to give him one more chance.
She cleaned up the house and nursed him back to health, caring for him until he was better again…
This is really heartbreaking but if this happened to you, would you readily forgive your man?
