South Korean actress Sandara Park became famous in the Philippines as a contestant on the talent show “Star Circle Quest” back in 2004. But the young actress who also goes by the stage name ‘Dara’ would later go back to South Korea in 2007 after a successful career in acting and singing.
Although Sandara is a pure-blooded South Korean, her family has lived in the Philippines since 1994. Thus, she has also grown to love the Filipino culture, including Filipino food.
Now that she is back in South Korea, the young actress occasionally shares photos of Filipino food that she either misses or had a chance of eating in her home country. Many Pinoy fans love how Sandara continues to show her love and support for the Filipino culture.
Recently, Sandara went viral after South Korean heartthrob actor Jung Il-woo cooked her some of the Pinoy dishes she so badly missed. Fans were screaming with delight to see the two together, hoping that they might be in love!
“I’ll be cooking some Filipino foods for Dara. I’ve actually never been to the Philippines before. I’ve never been there, but I tried my best to search information on YouTube. I also looked everywhere up for the favorite Filipino menus of Dara,” the young actor wrote.
Pinoy fans loved seeing the two together, especially because they think that Il-woo was really so sweet to go out of his way to cook for Sandara. The young actor prepared seafood sinigang and beef kaldereta, two of the foods that Sandara loved in the Philippines.
While many netizens wished that the two will become a couple, they clarified that they are just friends. Still, one can hope, eh? They do look so sweet together!
