Dogs can be such sweet creatures – and there are even some that are able to understand things that people don’t expect them to know at all!
One such dog in Brazil recently went viral as it hurriedly removes rugs at their house to create a way for a grandma on wheelchair! Isn’t that sweet?
Ana Clara Simoes’ 86-year-old grandmother visits their house from time to time – and quickly became best friends with Ana’s dog, Lili. The little dog enjoys the old lady’s company and seems to understand that she needs a little bit of help because she’s on a wheelchair.
Seeing that the people in the house often help their grandma, the little dog also took it upon herself to help around as much as she could. The family noticed that Lili trained herself to remove rugs to clear the way for grandma’s wheelchair to move easily around the house.
Without being taught to do so, Lili would hurriedly remove the rugs each time grandma visits Ana’s house. She runs to meet grandma at the door, then hurries to clear the way. It is simply so cute to watch this sweet dog move as quickly as her small legs could carry, removing all the rugs for grandma.
“Lili learned to do it herself. We were all very surprised and admire her for it,” Ana revealed.
“At first we thought it was a coincidence. But we realized that it only happened when my grandmother was going to pass through. It’s an act of care.”
So far, Lili only knows how to remove the rugs when grandma arrives but has not yet learned to return these into place when the old lady goes home. But the fact that she learned to do this by herself proves that she’s truly a sweet little thing…
