In life, we might make a lot of great plans, but we all know that not all these plans actually come true. Not all goals get achieved. Sadly, not everyone lives long enough to fulfill those goals, no matter how carefully planned and perfect everything seemed to be…
Such happened to couple Ryan Pag-asa Casidsid and Richielyn Jimenez who made plans to have a wonderful life together but ended up with the most heartbreaking story one could ever imagine. Their loves story began at their workplace in 2017 when Ryan fell in love with Richielyn. She’s the woman of his dreams.
It took a rather long time for Richielyn to fall in love with Ryan, but he was willing to wait. When she was finally ready, she asked him to accompany her to church. After the mass, she gave him a scrapbook of their photos and finally gave him her sweetest “yes”.
They had their ups and downs, but even though they have only been together for over a year, Ryan knew that he has found his forever. So, with the help of friends, he proposed to his sweetheart in January 2019. More good news arrived in the form of a baby! The couple was so excited for their growing family, naming their child as Tony. Sadly, they lo
st the baby in March.

sing the baby, the couple stayed strong in their love. They spent the next months planning and preparing for the wedding which they set on December 21, 2019. They have already completed the seminars, got the permits, paid the downpayment to most of the suppliers, and got their outfits ready.
They were ready for the wedding. They were ready to build a family. But fate had other plans. Ryan got worried when he noticed that Richielyn’s tummy was getting bigger, but she’s not even pregnant. She spent 2 weeks at Metro Antipolo Hospit
al. Doctors had difficulty dia gnosing her condition, but she was discharged when she became better.
But not long afterwards, she began complaining of severe headaches. They brought her to Padre Pio Hospi
tal in San Mateo where more tests were made. A devoted fiancé, Ryan worked hard during his duty hours and spent his free time with Richielyn. He can’t afford to quit his job to take care of her on a full-time basis, but he made sure he was there for her.
As her condition worsened, the hosp
ital advised them to find a bigger medical facility that could meet her needs. Ryan would later thank Capitol Medical Center for being a huge help, allowing them to transfer Richielyn without asking for a huge downpayment – a standard practice that many have come to expect from many medical facilities!
Though Richielyn’s condition was finally diagnos
ed, TB m eningitis, her condition was far too advanced for any treatment to work at this point. The family was told that she might survive the ordeal but would never be the same again. She tried her best to live but lost. It was hard for Ryan to accept what happened, but he decided to continue with their ‘wedding plans’, albeit at an earlier date and with his bride unable to see or hear what’s actually happening. As he marched down the aisle, tears were falling down Ryan’s face. The pallbearers escorted Richielyn down the aisle for her final moment in church.
Mourners could not help but cry as they watched Ryan gazing at his late bride throughout the mass. The wedding ended in the loneliest “kiss the bride” photo ever. As the heartbroken groom bids goodbye to his late bride, he tells her to hug their Baby Tony for him… This is so heartbreaking.
