Despite Suffering from Stroke, This Hardworking Man Sells Hotdogs on Backpack ‘Store’

He already experienced having a stroke, but one hardworking man now sells hotdogs on a backpack ‘store’ and roams around Makati City to find buyers. He earned netizens’ admiration, but many were concerned that his makeshift ‘store’ is too heavy and that being an ambulant vendor might have detrimental effects on his health.

On a post on Facebook, netizen Neil Bote expressed both admiration and concern after meeting Mang Bobby, an ambulant vendor in Makati City who sells hotdogs using his backpack ‘store’. The contraction appears to be made of some kind of metal that acts as frame to ensure that the table where he prepares the customers’ orders won’t fall to the ground.

The mobile hotdog stand is a project of a foreign NGO that helps provide decent livelihood to PWDs, Neil explained after talking with Mang Bobby.

According to Neil, Mang Bobby sells at the Reposo area in Makati City. The hardworking vendor sells there at an almost daily basis, carrying that heavy hotdog ‘stand’ with him.

A lot of netizens are hoping that someone could provide Mang Bobby with a better option so he wouldn’t have to sell hotdogs with that heavy-looking contraption.
