Barber Inspires after Becoming a Licensed Doctor, Story Goes Viral

A barber inspires a lot of netizens after becoming a licensed doctor, trading his shears for a stethoscope! His inspiring story has gone viral, with many netizens commenting that he would make a great role model for today’s young people.

Born to a poor family, Dr. Jess Dexisne experienced a lot of hardships yet his motto in life had always been, “Quitting is not an option!

Being poor meant that his parents could not afford to send him to school, yet he dreamed of completing his studies and becoming a doctor to help other poor folks like them as well as providing a better life for his family.

In his wish to study, the young Jess became a barber to support himself in high school. It is not a high-paying job but it helped him go to school. However, due to financial problems and because the job doesn’t really pay a lot, there were a lot of times when he had to quit school. Yet this did not make him feel discouraged.

He truly wanted to fulfill his dreams; thus, he worked harder.

After high school, he was able to proceed to BS Nursing. Fulfilling that part of his dream was wonderful but he still wanted to be a doctor. This young man continued to work harder until he graduated from Med School! There were times when he got sick out of exhaustion, but quitting was never an option.

Last October 2020, he was finally able to reach his dreams as was among the passers of the Physician Licensure Examinations! He is now a licensed doctor.

Who would have thought that a barber would become a doctor someday, huh? He is truly an inspiration!
