A lot of people have this notion that gamers are up to no good and are just lazy people who would rather play games than grow up and find a “real job”. But what if these gamers’ jobs actually pay much, much more than everyone’s idea of a real job, huh?
Recently, a 27-year-old gamer proved that when he bought a brand-new Mustang from his earnings in e-sports! Can you believe that?
Faris Zakaria, also known online through his username Soloz is an e-sports gamer from Malaysia. He’s a professional gamer who has actually participated in many tournaments. In fact, he represented Malaysia in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang category during the SEA Games 2019 in the Philippines where his team, Team Bosskurr, won the Bronze medal.
Aside from participating in various mobile gaming competitions and tournaments, Faris also earns a lot of money by his PUBG and Mobile Legends gameplays online.
And while a lot of people would definitely tell their kids to study hard, find a good job someday, and stay away from gaming because there’s no future in just playing games, Faris proved that gamers can actually earn a lot of money just by playing games!
“Often being praised for being down-to-earth, Faris visited the car showroom in a pair of slippers to view a red Ford Mustang GT500 on 28 January. And just one week later, he returned to the showroom to purchase the beauty with his hard-earned money for being an Esports athlete,” a fan shared on social media, reports RachFeed.
On February 4, Faris went back to the showroom, still wearing a pair of slippers, and paid for his brand-new Mustang – and that’s all thanks to the money he earned from playing e-sports! Gaming doesn’t guarantee a good future? Well, that might be true but for this young gamer, his games just got him a real Mustang.
