Jobless Pinoy Stuck in Abu Dhabi Feeds Stray Cats Despite Not Having a Lot of Money

Jonathan “Aithan” Sibol had actually began feeding the stray cats since 2015. At the time, he had a stable job and would spend AED 1,000 (Php14,300) every month for cat food, water, and milk for these animals.

For months, he set aside money for the stray cats and didn’t mind going around the city to feed the cats, twice a day.

But Sibol lost his job a year ago. Stuck in Abu Dhabi doing some part-time jobs while waiting for a company to hire him, he certainly didn’t have a lot of money to even support himself yet he continued with his advocacy, asking help from friends.

Thanks to donations from generous friends and people who admired his cause, Sibol was able to continue feeding the stray cats, once in the morning and another time during early evenings.

A lot of people were impressed by Sibol’s perseverance for these cats, considering that he could have stopped the advocacy at the time he didn’t have a job. Many also admired him for taking time to go around the city to feed the strays.

For his kindness to these creatures, a lot of netizens are hoping that his viral story would reach someone who might be able to give him a regular job. After all, if he could be so selfless for these animals even at his time of great need, he certainly deserves to have a job as reward for his kind deed and so he could once again have more funds for the kitties.
