Guy Finds Money in the Street, Uses Cash to Buy Food for Some Homeless People

A guy found money in the street. When he can’t determine who owns it, and there seemed to be no one nearly trying to search for their lost cash, he used it to buy food for some homeless people! Impressive, isn’t it?

When Marvin Tan Juan Pigalan found Php500 while walking, his first thought was to find the owner. But with no one else around and knowing how difficult it can be to find the owner of something that didn’t have that person’s name or identification, he had the brilliant idea of using the money to buy food for some homeless people instead.

Yung may ari ng 500 na napulot ko wag ka mag alala nawala mo man yung pera pero nakatulong kanaman sa mga taong na ngangailangan ,hindi narin kasi kita makati para ma isoli ko sayo kaya ganyan nalang ginawa ko 👍😇,” Pigalan wrote on his Facebook account.

The young man would then share pictures of the money and how he used it to buy various food items at a nearby grocery store.

Pigalan bought some packs of noodles, loaves of bread, and a few cans of sardines. He asked the bagger to put these items in separate plastic bags for easier distribution to the homeless people he planned to give the gifts to.

He didn’t even need to go far from the grocery store to hand out the first plastic bag that contained the food items. He happily shared the food to the homeless people who were quite happy at the blessing they received that day.

While it wasn’t really much since he only found and used Php500, he was able to provide food for a number of homeless people – at the end of the day, that still matters a lot!

There were some people who criticized him for using the money to feed the homeless instead of really finding the owner, yet most were impressed that he actually chose to do this instead of just pocketing the cash.
