Guy Builds Dad’s 2-Story Dream Home with Terrace, Shares Inspiring Photos

Growing up in a nipa hut whose roof would leak every time it rains, one guy often saw his father make plans for a 2-story house with a terrace. When he finally had a job, he made sure to build that dream house for his dad even if his coworkers advised him against it!

RanDy N. Oliverio shared the inspiring story of how he managed to build that dream house for his dad, despite colleagues telling him that a house is not a wise investment because you can’t get any return on investment (ROI) from the building.

They told him to start a business instead – but this young man, seeing his parents’ smiles of happiness is far better than any amount of ROI he could ever receive!

On his Facebook page, Oliverio shares that he hails from San Antonio, Northern Samar, but is now based in Manila and working as Property Specialist at Avida Land Corp.

When his colleagues learned that he plans to build his dad’s dream house in the province, everyone tried to persuade him to use his money elsewhere.

Dapat passive income ang mindset kasi para kang nag baon ng pera sa lupa dahil walang ROI,” he admitted, sharing that his colleagues do have a point.

However, he also knew that his dad had always dreamed of that house ever since he was a kid. Now that he is capable of making that dream a reality, Oliverio knew that he had to put off his own dreams to give way for his dad.

God is Good talaga.

Now, that’s a truly inspiring story, right?
