Dimples Romana Lands a New Gig as a Tourism Advocate

Dimples Romana is an actress that has a lead role in the afternoon teleserye “Kadenang Ginto,” as Daniela Mondragon-Bartolome. Her character has an ongoing rivalry with Romina, played by Beauty Gonzalez, and the story revolves around that and the people close to them.

The afternoon drama not only has a large following due to its story, but because of the memes that came from it. The latest one is still being shared and made, and it is what is called “Daniela Mondragon Walks Everywhere.”

The story behind the meme is that in their teaser for the latest season, Daniela was shown walking the street wearing a red dress and is pulling along a red luggage. People took that image and had started putting Daniela in different locations and different situations.

Dimples has enjoyed the meme and with an Instagram post, she thanks her fans who took notice and she wants to spread more positive vibes because of it.

This time, it looks like she’ll be spreading not just positive vibes, but instead she’ll be spreading awareness of the lesser known locations in the Philippines.

In a post made in the Department of Tourism’s Facebook page, it showed Dimples meeting with the Tourism Chief Bernadette Romulo-Puyat. The post said that Dimples wants to be “part of the fun.”

In the post, it was said that Dimples will be collaborating with the Department of Tourism and she’ll be acting as a volunteer advocate. Since she is an art enthusiast and a self-confessed museum lover, she wants to help promote the museums and heritage sites of the country, as well as the lesser-known places.

The show “Kadenang Ginto” is still ongoing and it will start its third season soon. The story has taken a new turn and will be introducing the new character Leon, played by actor Richard Yap.
