Twenty six-year-old Mike Vaughn recently went through a breakup when he found out his ex-girlfriend was cheating on him. He basically lived on a diet of crisps, bread, fizzy drinks, and takeaways.
Growing up, he was always the ‘biggest guy’ in the school and his size seemed to be normal to him. At 15, he weighed 252 lbs. He used to play football with his friends most nights after school but one thing lead to another; he was doing nothing while eating junk food.
When he was in college, he was consistent with no exercise and eating a lot of fast food for three years.
In the last year of February, he reached his heaviest weight of 454 lbs. He was in depression because he didn’t know how to change his habits.
He then realized that his health was at risk when he couldn’t even make it to the second floor without struggling. He was encouraged by his friend to sign up for an intense six-week boot camp. He lost 49 lbs and after his girlfriend left him, his weight reached 266 lbs.
He put everything into his diet and training when he found out about his girlfriend and he said that he could never be happier. He found the consistency that he needed so much. He also said that the cheating of his ex-girlfriend was a blessing in disguise.
According to Manchester Daily News, his diet before starts with four pieces of toast with beans as his breakfast; sandwiches and crisps for lunch; takeaways, pizzas, burgers for dinner and he eats crisps and fizzy drinks as snacks.
His goal is to be half of his heaviest weight.
